What is a Diesel Stove?

A parking heater is comparable to a central heating boiler at home. Yet the diesel parking heater only uses diesel as fuel. The glow plug, also called the glow plug, is heated when the parking heater is started. After twenty seconds, the fuel pump pumps diesel into the combustion chamber. An electric motor with two paddle wheels simultaneously brings in combustion air: One for heating air and the other for combustion air. The glow coil ensures that a mixture of air and fuel is ignited in the combustion chamber. The combustion gases are removed through a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger guides the heated air and then flows into the cabin for heating.

As we move forward with the installation of the Liwolf Diesel Parking Heater, this understanding of its basic functions will be helpful. Make sure you are comfortable with these ideas before beginning installation.

Professional Installation Recommended

It is imperative that the installation of a parking heater is carried out by a qualified and experienced installer. The correct installation of the parking heater not only guarantees the best performance, but also the safety and durability of both your vehicle and the parking heater.

Location determination for the 'Liwolf Parking Heater'

Before you start, make sure where you want to place the "Liwolf parking heater". Also consider the dimensions of the included parts. The parking heater must be placed in a safe place as it can reach temperatures of approximately 110 degrees Celsius. To ensure the safest possible installation, we recommend following the following steps:

Important Considerations:

  1. Proximity to Fuel Pump: Place the Liwolf parking heater as close as possible to the fuel pump. This minimizes fuel lines and promotes efficient operation.

  2. Proximity to Diesel tank: Choose a location close to the diesel tank. This simplifies fuel supply and optimizes performance.

  3. Part Dimensions: Carefully check the dimensions of the supplied parts of the installation kit. Make sure that there is sufficient space available for the parking heater and all associated components.

  4. Avoid Flammable Materials: Avoid locations with direct contact with flammable materials such as carpet or plastic flooring. Choose a place that can withstand the high temperatures that the parking heater can generate.

  5. Carbon monoxide detector: Always install a carbon monoxide detector near the parking heater. This provides extra safety by detecting any carbon monoxide emissions.

  6. Mounting Bracket Use: Always use the supplied mounting bracket. This prevents direct contact with flammable surfaces and ensures a stable and safe mounting.

For safe and effective operation of the Liwolf parking heater, it is important to place it in the right place. Take these considerations seriously and ensure that the installation is carried out to the highest safety standards.

Fuel Tank Information

Error codes

Sometimes it may happen that the diesel parking heater or its associated parts are not connected correctly. In such cases, an error code will be displayed on the multi-control screen. Here you will find an overview of all error codes, together with possible solutions:

E-00

No mistake No error was detected. Everything works as expected.

E-01

Under pressure - Your battery has insufficient power, please charge. Make sure your battery is sufficiently charged to ensure proper operation.

E-02

Overvoltage - The voltage exceeds the permitted level, reduce the voltage to 12V. Check and reduce the voltage if it is above the recommended level.

E-03

A. Gloeibougie defects - Check whether the glow plug is still intact.

B. Check Voltage - Make sure the tension is correct.

C. Combustion Chamber Problem - If A and B are correct, dirt in the combustion chamber may be the cause. This can occur if the parking heater runs at a low temperature for a long time. Prevent this by regularly running the parking heater at a higher temperature.

(see combustion chamber video)

E-04

Fuel Pump Disconnected - Check the cable to the fuel pump and make sure the plug is properly inserted. This can also be caused by low voltage.

E-05

Overheating - Check that the air inlet at the rear of the heater is not restricted, check the fan for blockages. Also check that the air vent is not blocked and that the heating duct is not damaged, restricting air flow.

E-06

Ventilatormotorstoring - This is usually caused by low voltage. Check the magnetic sensor at the fan. It may be shifted and not aligned correctly.

E-07

Connection problem between Controller and Heater - Check the cables and the connection plug. Low voltage can also play a role here.

E-08

Low Fuel or Air in the Fuel Lines - Check the fuel tank, make sure the fuel filter is not clogged and check for low voltage.

E-09

Check for Defects or Damage - Check the connection for possible problems.

E-10

Repeated Errors - One or more of the above error codes have occurred multiple times without a successful restart of the device.
